Related to #52 when working on FASSE vs. FASRC, I believe there is an http proxy required for outgoing/incoming internet connections (eg for GitHub, as used here: https://nsaph.github.io/handbook/analysis.html#creating-a-github-repository-in-fasse
However, when added to your .bashrc as instructed this compromised my ability to connect to anything on FASRC; when I removed these lines from bashrc, I was fine.
We should clarify that if you are working on FASSE, you will need to modify the proxy.
