Tests for user analysis scripts and figure tools

@menzel-gfdl has reorganized the source code between "core" and "user-contributed" sections.

He has added tests for the "core" analysis script base class.

Existing tests (for analysis-cloud and analysis-land) need to be reorganized, and this issue tracks this.
