Yes, as it will kill all of the apps on F-Droid as well and anything similar.

A complete annihilation of any non Google Play Store apps.

I'd advise making sure you avoid the update for it when it comes out.

Or switching to a custom ROM.

App Manager has been verified on Android Developer Verification console. So, it will not affect App Manager.
