Why was the discussion about figuring out how the ndcdeviceid (#3) gone?

I was just searching that commit also to see if a solution was found, I had it linked to my repo as the issue where we are keeping track of this as a community

This is very strange, I don't recall deleting any issues related to that and I wouldn't have deleted a issue that I contributed a lot to it.
