Since November of 2024, WebView2 runtime no longer appears in Settings > Installed Apps. WV2 is "now a persistent system component" per this release note. So the previous ability to repair it is gone.
When our customers are experiencing issues with WebView2, we'd like to be able to suggest repairing the WebView2 runtime. I did some searching and have not been able to find an answer for this. One answer here suggests that there is an EdgeRepairTool that has an option for repairing WV2. That would be just what I need, but the link provided: https://aka.ms/EdgeRepairTool , yields an empty Bing results page.
Will running the repair option for Microsoft Edge also repair WV2 runtime?
