Unity bindings please!

So far only godot, then for unity apparently there is nothing working at the moment macwise, to enable joycons, that would be awesome.

Unfortunately, I haven't worked in Unity myself now for several years, and also have never written code to bridge between Unity and C++ libraries. As such, I wouldn't be able to work on anything that uses SwitchKit to interface with Unity. If someone else is interested in taking this on, that'd be great! It would make sense to keep in its own dedicated repository though, similar to how the SwitchKit bindings for Godot are in the SwitchKit-Godot repository instead of this one.

SwitchKit was largely inspired by my previous JoyConUnityInputSystem plugin for Unity. The documentation there should describe the Joy-Con features supported, which may be sufficient for your use case. Note that the last update to the repository was in September 2025, and I'm no longer maintaining it or providing support for it. So, if you try that plugin, you may find that you need to update it to be supported by your version of Unity.

There are also a few forks of JoyConUnityInputSystem by other people, but it looks like they haven't had any changes made that would not be incorporated into my original repository. Still, it may be worth keeping an eye on those forks in case their authors pick them back up.
