No option to disable metadata translation

I have multiple libraries in multiple languages that I read and speak. In the library are files with no embedded metadata, no subtitles, in folders named as the work titles in their respective languages. Yet when I add them to the library, Emby server automatically retrieves the English title for the series names and saves them in the library metadata. This even applies in folder view, which doesn't show the actual folder name, but rather the automatically saved English metadata name for the specified folder.

I have not used Emby in a couple months, but last time I did, Emby did not do this. I have absolutely no need for this behavior but I can't find a setting that disables it. In fact, I can't figure out how Emby is doing this because there is no embedded metadata and my firewall blocks Emby from accessing the internet.

Hi, have you explored the options for each library in Emby library setup? There's two ways you could have handled this. One way would be to set your preferred metadata language. The second would be to disable internet metadata fetchers altogether.

I've tried both and they do nothing. I suspect Emby is using the display language to do this. I also have the fetchers disabled on top of Emby being completely cut off from the internet and it still does this. I have since switched to Jellyfin. No such problems there.
