After completing #42 and #44 The results have to be reviewed:

Questions To Be Reviewed

  • Which combinations of data source + distortion + reconstruction algorithm are impossible to process?
  • Which distortions and/or reconstruction algorithms show unexpected results and should be reviewed regarding correct implementation?
  • Which combinations of distortions + reconstruction algorithms create identically looking results?
  • Are there distortions, that should be parametrized differently to enhance their effect?
  • Are there significant differences in the effects of the distortions regarding data sources/ body regions / sequence types?
  • Are all image properties effectively modified by the current distortions + reconstruction variants, which combinations show strongest results for each image property?

Image Properties to be covered

  • Pixel resolution / spacing (General properties)
  • Sharpness (Glancing/Full image)
  • Intensity uniformity (Glancing/Full image)
  • Noise level (Glancing/Full image)
  • RoI homogeneity (Glancing/Objects of interest)
  • Edges (Scanning)
  • Contrast preservation of anatomical structures (Scanning)

Acceptance Criteria

  • Answers to all above questions
  • Final list of planned combinations of data + distortions + reconstructions for final experiments
