Make intermediate/alternate layer from selection #36
Description
The possibility to define an instance from the current selection is great. Similarly, making an intermediate or alternate layer at the selected position would be very useful in my workflow.
Proposed solution
In addition to having the "Make Instance..." option, add a "Make intermediate/alternate layer" option.
Current alternatives
I personally use an ancient script of mine: "Interpolation Preview", which is essentially a really basic, hacky version of VFP. It includes the option to make an intermediate/alternate layer, though, also for multiple selected glyphs.
