Thank you so much for all these nice improvements from 1.19.0 to 1.20.1 (and the updating of the tooltips too,-)! |

As you might have noticed lately my focus is on improving the UX of QMapShack. There are many little quirks due to:
Some of them I am well aware ignoring them so far 😄 . Some of them are really hard to fix 😞 . Some are impossible to fix without rewriting the complete app 🤯 . Probably most of them I am not even aware of as I use just a subset of QMapShack.
Hence the idea to start collecting these things. The ticket system is not a good place for that kind of stuff. It should be reserved for stuff that really has a chance to get fixed or get done. Discussing it here is not at all a guarantee that it will be done, either. As with everything else it needs a volunteer to donate personal spare time to get stuff done. Therefore buckle up to implement your ideas yourself or at least present them in a way that has a chance to catch someone else's interest.
Rules:
The idea of this discussion is to collect references to other discussions. If you have an idea open up an new discussion and add a reference to this discussion with a short summary. Do not start discussing here!
Do not hijack discussions with your own ideas. Stick to the topic! We had this lately in tickets and PRs adding a lot of noise. If a discussion inspires you to a new idea open up a new discussion, link it here, maybe add a very short notice to the discussion that inspired you.
Try to be as constructive as possible. If you do not like an idea it's fine. But give a very good reason why it breaks. And if you like to have something changed, change it yourself. Pick up the code, change it to your liking and present it. Do not expect anyone else to spend time fixing the code until you are satisfied.
I will add a first discussion as example. Stick to the pattern 😉
