Adding tests for Paragraph functionality

Description of proposed feature

There has been a lot of work done in

• Fixed bad text slicing for lines in :class:.Paragraph #2721
  to address the issues with formatting of Paragraph.

To further improve the tested capabilities of the Library i suggest adding tests for the functionality presented in #2721 and also for the following issues to check if they have been fixed in relation to the PR.

Tests should also check for the following issues and close them with the new PR which adds tests if they're fixed.

• Character spacing/overlap/kerning bug after escape characters in Paragraph when using non-default alignment argument #2673
• Extra text when rendering a line of a paragraph #2366
• fix initialization for :class:~.Paragraph  #2014

I proposed a new text api which would completely replace Paragraph and let pango (the library which we use internally) handle it. #2355

Do we really need tests for something which will be removed soon?

I added tests for the functionality added in #2721.

I submitted a pull request at tests: Add unit tests for Paragraph alignment #4614

Update: I changed the method used to do floating point comparison in the tests to use numpy.testing.assert_almost_equal.
