Great work, using my mxw01 printer in windows is very fun. I want to ask you something. If it is possible, can mxw01 work as a standard printer in windows? Can I print ms office word documents with ctrl+p?

This is a great idea. But I've never done any kind of driver work, so I'm a bit lost at this. If I have some time, I will take a look. I'd probably have to use C++ for that.

Hi,
Just FYI there's no need to setup a new Windows Driver.
Windows comes with PostScript drivers preinstalled, so you can setup a TCP/IP Printer using the PostScript driver and your C# application will receive the PS file as a Network Stream.
Then it's just to convert the PostScript into PNG and feed it to the Print Function.
I made a small attempt by leveraging some code from here https://github.com/manasseh-zw/PrintJobInterceptor/ and it works fine. The only difference in my test is that instead of installing the Ghostscript.NET library i just took the gs.exe and called it with Process.Start

In short, just start a TCPListner, point the PS Driver to it and pipe everything you receive trough GS,EXE

Not sure what your use case is, this printer is very small lol

Configure the Virtual Printer in Windows
Go to 'Printers & scanners' in Windows Settings
Click 'Add a printer or scanner' (and wait a sec)
Choose 'The printer that I want isn't listed'
Select 'Add a printer using a an IP address or hostname'
Enter the following details:
Device type: TCP/IP Device
Hostname or IP address: 127.0.0.1
Port name: 8888
Click 'Next'
(windows will try to detect a printer on this port config ... you will get an error, ignore it and keep the setting to General Network Card and click next)*

For the driver, select 'Microsoft PS Class Driver'
Choose a printer name (e.g., "Virtual PostScript Printer")
Complete the wizard
