non-manifold meshes #12

Hi,
I was wondering if this implementation works out of the box for non-manifold meshes. Could you please let me know if it works for non-manifold meshes? Also, if it doesn't can you please point out some resources/changes I can make it to work on non-manifold meshes? Thank you.
