New colors module is not linked up to stella

stella/res/stella_extras.f90 still uses the old colors module interface, and will not compile

We will have to update this to use the new interface for the next release version

I have addressed this in pr #926. I have issues with running the stella module in general, and it seems like this is issues that are not related to the colors integration.

yes, stella has it's own issues. My only concern is that with colors from the colors module, the test cases might be significantly slower, but maybe this is something we can address with optional BC tables in the future?
