We were inspired by Google Next 2024 when Vercel unleashed a thrilling integration with Gemini applied to the concept of generative UI. While their demo at its core was static and prebuilt, we wanted to build something dynamic; something that pulled from real websites to generate user interfaces.
GemUI was built on top of the Vercel AI SDK and the open-sourced (Apache License 2.0) Gemini starter kit provided by Vercel.
