Hey, I figured a github issue would be a good place to to discuss rules and tools to try.
For me the only rule I will not be able to comply with is "No modern GUI applications are allowed" which I see is a pretty big one. For me I'm a web developer, so I have to run a browser to work, no way around that but I do see how having one installed or open is a slippery slope.
I can code in VIM or Helix, I can look at tickets using a Jira TUI like jira-cli, I can clock my time with the Harvest API (haven't found a working TUI yet), for Slack I think the only real solution is Matrix bridge then a Matrix Tui as I don't think any of the slack tuis really work anymore but I personally cannot get past using a browser at least for work. I can try brow.sh and it might work for certain projects I work on but not sure I can properly test a website with that.
A cool thing I found when looking for TUI tools is nb command line and local web note‑taking, bookmarking, archiving, and knowledge base application. Using instead of Obsidian, it syncs with git so sync should actually work.
