We're live for Launch 24, and jblive.tv is.... blank.

We do need a new live experience, but its probably for the most part blocked on backend issues. Recently we've been redirecting this page via cloudflare to fountain, or to a temporary live page, etc.

Just testing now and none of the scale engine streams are going, so probably this current page can't work as is.

We did have a temporary live up, which we need to put back and/or eventually move to the site. Was only deployed to a temp server which is no longer up...

I remember most of this was tied to the peertube site that you guys ran for awhile. I know the live indicator was built off of that for sure and the peertube stream was embedded on top. Definitely would love to see this page come back to life.

Isn't there a podcasting 2.0 player that was web embeddable? Maybe podverse? Perhaps that could be embedded and point to the all shows feed.

And for the live status indicator, I think it would make sense to target the lit tag in the all shows RSS feed. How terrible of an idea would it be to ping the feed on every page load?

I think a proper attempt here is probably still worthwhile, but we may want to reconsider status of this issue post #911 and #912.
