A trading group can have one or many traders. The group and be part of another broader group. What they trade will be allocated at the time of trading or in the back office to client portfolios / funds.
Some of the instruments traded maybe OTC which might be quoted from multiple parties. You may have inconsistent data-feeds from different vendors which need to be automatically consolidated according to a user supplied algorithm.
