Windows support

Hi, I see from the README that Windows is not supported, but I thought it would be helpful to to create an issue just to explicitly track this and start a discussion. Definitely curious if "This will hopefully be fixed soon." means you know someone is working on this?

I help maintain Catlab.jl which has many applications for nauty, though our commitment to support for Windows makes it difficult to incorporate these features.

Hi, thanks for opening the issue. As far as I can tell, the problem is that nauty itself has rather shaky Windows support. In particular, nauty's autoconf tooling breaks when cross-compiling to Windows. I unfortunately don't have the time or expertise to work on a patch for this. I just hope that a future version of nauty will have working build tools for Windows.

That said, if you know of any other nauty wrappers that do work on Windows, let me know. Maybe there is a simple fix that I am unaware of.

for anyone wanting to contribute a fix, a good place to start would be making sure that the nauty_jll package properly compiles on Windows. That would require some work with BinaryBuilder.jl and a pull request to appropriately update this package recipe https://github.com/JuliaPackaging/Yggdrasil/blob/master/N/nauty/build_tarballs.jl#L58
