We want to inform you of a critical security vulnerability that has been identified and fixed in JoomCCK.

Severity: Critical
Affected versions: 6.2.0 and earlier
Fixed in: 6.2.1

What happened
A security vulnerability was discovered in certain component controllers that could allow unauthorized access to administrative functionality. This issue has been resolved in version 6.2.1.

What you need to do

1. Update immediately to JoomCCK 6.2.1 or later:
   https://github.com/JoomCoder-com/JoomCCK/releases
2. Scan your site for any suspicious or unfamiliar files, particularly in upload and temporary directories.
3. Review access logs for any unusual activity or unauthorized requests.
4. If you discover signs of compromise, we recommend restoring from a clean backup taken before the vulnerability period and then applying the update.
