Gaussian fit not fitting for DEER data #496

I have some DEER data I am attempting to use the gaussian fit on to give a distance distribution. It has worked fine for most of my data sets. However two (that have distortions on the first peak) are not fitting well at all and I do not know why. Any assistance appreciated. |

The most common cause of these sort of issue is a problem wih the time axis, not correctly matching the model. This looks okay here but I can't be sure.
These distortions could also be easily causing a problem. Once solution could be to mask these data points so they are not used during the fit, but the fit is still evaluated at these points. It is very similar to how we fix crossing echoes: example here
