DatePicker: Throws error when deleting date

Follow these steps exactly:

1. Open https://jsfiddle.net/cn2jbyo5/4/ - observe the browser console
2. Open the Year picker and select the year at the bottom (e.g. 2034).
3. Open the Year picker again and select the year at the bottom (e.g. 2044).
4. Now select the date in the input field (e.g. CTRL + A) and delete it (DELETE or CTRL + X).

This results in the following error:
