Suggestion ( New features )

Describe the feature idea

First of all thank you so much!🙏 I’ve been using your tag editor and it’s fantastic, the tag group feature in particular has saved me a ton of time.
I do have a few suggestions that I hope you’ll consider:

1. Tag grab-and-release feature: --------> It would be helpful to have a way to grab and release tags for better organization, right now I save the group and edit it manually, and maybe a toggle button to enable/disable this feature could help prevent accidental tag movements.
2. Dark theme visibility: -------> In the dark theme, the on/off states are a bit hard to distinguish everything looks black to me, It might be clearer if the “on” state were highlighted in blue, and the “off” state stayed black with grayed out text.
3. Layout flexibility: ----------> when tagging, I often wish I could resize the group tag section to make more room for the rest of the interface, currently, it seems fixed. adding layout customization would make the workflow better.
   These are just suggestions on my part, thank you again for your amazing work!

for the first point you know how to drag and grab folder or image into folder, or in Google Chrome browser we garb page then drag to change positions, same thing with tag lets take this img as example , here you see a lot of tags, here in case i want the last tag head out of frame to be the first (from behind or second from side ( i mean tag group only) all we need is to grab and press on the tag and take it to the first or second tag and it will take their place and push them to be next to it ( i am sorry if my explanation a little bit off but this best way i can put it )

Now for the 2 point, all i can say about the garb thing like chrome browser as example see this

For this 1 and 2 Points

4. Right Click Function, (Context Menu): --------> i can not press right click on any field, it should be there so i can select all or copy, cut and paste.

5. Apply All Button For Group Tag: -------> For the group tag sometime i add all tag for the character to a group like long hair, black hair, green eyes, and what i want is a button for each group that when get pressed it apply all the tag in the specific group, you can name it apply Group Tag or apply all, but ( there should be one for each group i make).

6. Portable Functionality: ---------> i format my PC regularly so i wish that i can only copy and past your tag editor to a flash with all models then paste it to the new pc without the need to redownload the model that i want again

this is all i could think of to make the software even better

Hello, thanks for the many suggestions you mentioned and I'll share my thoughts about them:

1. This functionality would be great and it would save quite the trouble if you need to change positions of tags. I'll see if I can implement it.
2. I think is pretty clear when is on (light white and circle on the right side) and off (grey and circle on the left side) and I haven't got complains about that aside from yours so I'll keep the current design
3. I'll see what I can do about that
4. Is this regarding tag groups? Or in general?
5. This seems kinda niche to be honest, like, if you do a group for hair colors a character can't have all of them
6. This is not possible due to how the tagger models are downloaded

Regarding point 4, I meant it in a general sense.
As for point 5, I think there was a misunderstanding. What I’m doing is creating tag groups for each character for example, one group for appearance and another for outfit. In most cases, my character includes all facial and hair traits like blonde hair, blue eyes, eyeshadow, long hair, multicolor hair, etc. I manually click each tag one by one because I’ve grouped them specifically for that character. So in my case, I wish there were a single button that could apply all traits from a specific group at once

I see, in point 4, the only case I can think of adding a context menu is to copy the tag and I might do that. As for point 5, can't you just apply each tag you write globally if you're gonna end using them in all your images? That wasnt the use I wanted to give tag groups

Yes, I could do that, but you know how it is with tagging: some images contain all the traits, while others don’t. for example, if an image has long hair and blonde hair but is missing blue eyes, I’d need to manually deselect that trait. on the other hand, some images include all the relevant traits, so I can simply click once to apply the entire group.
That’s really my point is around 40% of the images tend to have the full set of face and hair, and eyes, traits etc... , while others might be cropped or missing elements like eyes or earrings. In those cases, I tag them individually. That’s how I envisioned using (tag groups) when an image matches the full set, I’d use “apply all,” and when it doesn’t, I’d go trait by trait.
Of course, it’s just a suggestion based on how I personally use your software and I really appreciate it, so thank you again

I've been rewriting the app from scratch and I've implemented all the suggestion I thought that were worth it. Here's the list:

1. Tag grab-and-release feature -> Implemented
2. Dark theme visibility improvements -> Implemented
3. Layout flexibility -> Implemented
4. Right Click Function -> Not planned as it can be done with some of the buttons in the app and keyboard shortcuts.
5. Apply All Button For Group Tag -> Implemented
6. Portable Functionality -> Not a 100% portable but now you can specify the path to where the models are downloaded, so in theory you can copy the folder and then change the path in settings

All these features will be available in the next update for when I release the rewrite
