Fake programmer for Arduino Uno R4 WiFi OTA

Hi,
My network router doesn't relay mDNS packets, therefore I can't use OTA with network.

To use a "fake programmer", in your readme you suggest to:

the platform.local.txt files for avr and samd in extras folder in this library contain the configuration for arduinoOTA tool as programmer. Copy platform.local.txt next to platform.txt in the hardware package of your board. The programmers.txt file can't have a 'local' extension so you have to add your OTA 'programmer' configuration into the existing programmers.txt file. Then restart the IDE.

You reference specifically avr and samd, does it work also for renesas_uno boards, like Arduino Uno R4 WiFi?

OK, so in the readme you say:

In platform.local.txt, I suppose that the section of configuration to copy over to programmers.txt is:

What do you mean by:

I copied "platform.local.txt" in C:\Users\yyy\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\arduino\hardware\renesas_uno\1.5.3 and added in "programmers.txt" the following lines:

I restarted IDE and in the Arduino Uno R4 WiFi board programmer list, I don't see an entry for Arduino OTA Uno R4.
What's missing?

the programmers definition (tools.arduinoOTA.*) should be in platform-local.txt
the programmers configurations go into programmer.txt

I followed your last comment.
If I select the Arduino Uno R4 WiFi board, the Arduino programmer doesn't show up.
But if I select the Arduino Uno R4 Minima board, the Arduino programmer shows up.
Also, if I select the Arduino Nano R4 board, the Arduino programmer shows up.
What could explain the fact that it doesn't work the R4 Wifi version?

Thanks, that was it. It works now.
I guess that if I change or add something to the programmers.txt file, I will have to clear the cache again.
