Simple HTML rendering directly in an interact element

Hey there!

So according to the docs the only way I can have some rich text associated with an interact element is with the element https://www.itb.ec.europa.eu/docs/tdl/latest/constructs/index.html#rich-documentation-per-step
Unfortunately this doesn't really cover our needs.

Is it in your roadmap to allow rich text (or atleast just line breaks, bold and cursive) directly in the description of a request element or as the text in an instruct element? For now we can make something that kinda works with multiple instruct elements with different levels to change the color, but it's just not very covering for all usecases and feels hindering 🤔

Hey @olw-medcom. We have this exact feature on our backlog and plan to make it available soon (i.e., in the coming days). The idea is to extend the interact step with a new boolean attribute, to signal that it should expect its content to be rich text. Setting this would allow the rendering of text styling and formatting, as well as links (based on a white list) so this should cover all points you mentioned.

Most likely this will only apply when the text is displayed inline (not in an editor) but I trust this is what you had in mind also.

To be more precise on my precious comment, this would apply for instruct elements in the interact step (and set as needed per instruct element).
