@vinayudyawer at a recent IMOS meeting I spoke with Helen Beggs from BOM, who authored a number of SST products including the rs_sst and rs_sst_interpolated products that we are using in remora. Helen mentioned that the new 1-day GP L3S dataset she recently released is better (better data coverage) than the previous 1-day MS L3S dataset that we are using for rs_sst. She suggested using that one instead.

rs_sst needs to use that new 1d GP L3S SST dataset, if possible. Hopefully, it is the same data format and is just a matter of pointing to a different THREDDS folder?
