App crashes when adding a gadget without having created an application before

when you start RapaEdit and click on "button" then "Add", the app crashes, because no application was created before. this should be avoided ;-)

There are a good many undocumented crashes in this prerelease software. I don't plan on upgrading to Hollywood 10 so you're welcome to join the project if you wish.
