Should the "Delete" message functionality be added?

This is already added as you can see the second to last icon seen in the taskbar. Was this not working for you, or would you expect deleting to work differently?

Ahh, so maybe different use case, the message in question is from the Railway integration, those do not have the trash can icon for deleting.

Ah yeah thats fair, currently don't have a way to delete messages of other Users/Apps. Changing title of the issue, will add soon
