Notification issue (calls, text messages etc.)

Hi,
I've had this weird issue on my Pixel 8 pro for a few weeks now where I won't hear a peep from my phone when people call or when I receive a text. I thought it was just sound/vibration that didn't happen as they came in, but just earlier I was using my phone and got a call and a text message, and I didn't see or hear either of them happen before I looked at the notification bar and saw I had missed a call.
But this is a global issue with notifications on my phone it seems, anyway, as I haven't heard any in a while, but see them in the notification bar.
I thought I was just not hearing the notifications for a long time, so I'm not completely sure which update caused this as it's been weeks. But today I was able to confirm that it's not me who was going crazy =)

My Bluetooth is always off, full screen notifications for calls are allowed, and I genuinely haven't changed any notification settings before this issue occurred, nor after for that matter.

Is there a solution or will I need to wait for a patch?

I am having the same issue today i reinstalled graphene (I initially installed in Jan) to see if it was an install issue same problem on the google pixel 8 pro as well; and when i use speaker phone i cannot hear them but they can hear me... please help

@lionessshalom You likely have a broken speaker. It's a different speaker than speaker phone.

you tube and other videos work just fine just not the phone speaker on speaker phone

Hi, I have an update with additional information that slightly complicates things.

So I'm still experiencing this issue, but there's a difference between different callers. Calls from my boss and my mom are silent and can only be seen from the notification bar, while calls from my dad came up perfectly fine. Again, I've never blocked or changed notification settings so this makes even less sense to me now that I've found out there's different outcomes depending on who is calling.

Surely this is still a bug right? I can't think of anything I have done for this to happen.
