Invalid buggy formatting

Hello there! I'm using the GDScript formatter with the Zed editor, and the formatter worked great for a few time, and did the auto-save perfectly without issues. However, soon, I began to notice it began formatting the code wrongly. Here's one video where I demonstrate the code formatter making the code buggy when I save my file in Zed.

Thank you for taking time to report this. When you encounter a formatter issue, could you please copy and paste a minimal code example that triggers the issue with before and after? You can but the before and after code in code fences. That makes it a bit easier for me to review triage and later address these things.

Sure. Here's the before vs after the formatting code:

Before formatting

@abstract class State extends Resource:
    @warning_ignore("unused_signal")
    signal exited
	
	
    var object: Node


    @abstract func enter() -> void

After formatting

@abstract class State extends Resource:
    @warning_ignore("unused_signal") signal exitedvar object: Node

    @abstract func enter() -> void

Note

Also, apart from the buggy formatting, the function enter() now has one line above it instead of two. Before formatting, there were two lines before the enter() function.

Important

I've tried writing my code in the following way:

@abstract class State extends Resource:
    @warning_ignore("unused_signal") signal exited
  
    var object: Node


    @abstract func enter() -> void

but it still gives the same buggy formatting as the one given above.
