User can not change own account-mailaddress

When looking at the account details I may add or change the "Email" field.
But within the "Benutzerkonto" box, when clicking the "@" button (tooltip: Ändere Emailadresse von Benutzerkonto user@domain.tld), I see a form to change my password where the email field is disabled.

closed, seemed to be some temporary browser problem? tried in another browser, form displayed as expected, so closed and reopened first browser used, now the form shows also fields to change the password...

but on change the mail reads:

Die Emailadresse des Benutzerkontos user@domain.tld auf der Internetseite hog.funkfeuer.at wird gerade auf new-user@domain.tld geändert, nach einer Anforderung von 1.2.3.4 auf der Seite /Auth/change_email.

when will this happen? after 15 minutes still only the old account works.
