1. 演讲

  • Audience Analysis (age, gender, ...)
  • 前20秒用正常一半的语速
  • Out & Move & Point (离开演讲桌、走动、用手势)
  • Avoid Stereotype
  • (范围) Topic > Theme > Title

1.1 Topic Choice

  • interesting both to you and audience
  • simple
  • have expertise in
  • are passionate about
  • have personal connection with
  • can handle within the given time

1.2 Remember to use

  • humor

1.3 Logical

  • every parts logically linked
  • add transitions
  • show roadmap (1/5 time guiding audience)

1.4 Ending

  • review the main point
  • reingorce your theme
  • reveal take-away messages for the audience

2. 写作

2.1 学术规范

  • 一位数拼写出来, 两位数及以上用阿拉伯数字
  • 不要i am, 用第三人称
  • 专有名词第一次用全称, 后面括号简称, 之后出现直接用简称
  • 自我介绍用第三人称介绍

2.2 论文结构

  • 题目 Title
  • 摘要 Abstract
  • 序言 Introduction
  • 正文
  • 结论
  • 引用 References
  • 自我介绍

2.3 搜索论文

  • 网站如中国知网CNKI
  • 可用关键词和被引排序检索
  • 魏公村国家图书馆办卡以下载机构没买的论文

2.4 正文格式

  1. IEEE style: 双栏, 工科用得多
  2. APA style: 单栏, 美国用得多

2.5 标题

  • 名词结构
  • 实词(动词、名词、形容词、副词)首字母大写
  • 虚词(介词、连词、冠词等)首字母小写(除非在第一个位置)
    例如 (The Application of .. at the ... Tertiary Level)
  • 添加修饰语, 缩小范围, (例如: 可穿戴设备在中国高等教育理科大学中的应用)
  • 不多于15个单词

2.7 摘要

One paragraph pure text with no references. Concentration of the whole papaer, the general methods. After reading abstract, the reader can decide whether to read the paper.

  • TS: Topic Specification 选题
  • BI: Background Information
  • PS: Purpose Statement 文章中心思想
  • MD(RM): Methodology & Data 如何收集数据、分析数据, 学术库引用
  • RD: Results & Discussion
  • CI: Conclusion & Implications 总结, 对未来的启示
  • Keywords: 3 ~ 5 words or phrases

2.8 考试

  • email

    • 英式: 13th of June, 2024
    • 美式: June 13th 2024
    • 一级标题: 字母全部大写
    • 二级标题: 实词首字母大写
