• Doesn't use end-to-end encryption on direct chats by default
• Doesn't support end-to-end encryption for group chats at all
• Doesn't support end-to-end encryption at all on Telegram web
• Their encryption scheme is okay, bu not great

You have a fork of the tldr-digital-security repo on your account. That one clearly recommends using Signal, why did you go against that? From what I've seen on the internet, it's not blocked in China.

Looks like Signal is in fact blocked and the articles I looked into are outdated...

Thanks for your reminding. We acknowledge the possible security problems of Telegram. But we still choose it because 1) the primary security threat is Chinese gov. We are approximately fine once avoiding it 2) Telegram has channel and robot which are more suitable for social networking besides safe communication.
