[BUG] Window Priority issue - backend crash during metadata-update

Describe the bug
If the launcher backend somehow crashes during a metdata-update, the user can't exit the launcher without using alt+f4 or task manager.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
N/A. Still need to figure what casues backend to crash during metdata-update

Expected behavior
Metadata-update window should preferably close and the backend crash log window should take priority.
