Clarify command (update existing artifacts before continue)

I use the workflow of new -> continue -> apply -> archive. However sometime in between steps I realize I need to clarify something or change some parts completely so instead of using /opsx- command I just ask AI to update the spec/proposal/design etc.

But in the artifact generation step, even though I didn't explicitly prompt /opsx-continue it sometimes do generate another artifact. I would be happier if it just did the updates to the existing artifacts I asked for and waits until I explicitly use /opsx-continue before it proceeds with any other artifacts. Maybe you can add another command like /opsx-clarify for these scenarios.
