On many digital outputs, the Windows Master Volume slider is ignored by the hardware. This forces users to manually adjust individual application volumes (App Volume Mixer) to control the actual loudness, which is tedious.
Would it be possible to implement an option where the Master Volume slider acts as a global offset for all active app sessions?
Basically, when the Master Volume is moved, EarTrumpet would proportionally adjust all individual app volumes simultaneously (If Master is at 50%, all apps are capped at 50% of their current level.). This would allow users on digital connections to have a "functional" Master Volume control without needing 3rd-party virtual cables or complex routing software.
