Firefox Support on macOS

Hey,

First of all, I want to say that this is a great project and I am excited about its future! I know it is too early to worry about this, but I wanted to let you know that the project does not work in Firefox and just shows the options window on a black background. I'm also attaching the console logs. I would really appreciate it if Firefox support could be added.

I just realized that this issue only occurs in macos and not in linux, which is weird because all Firefox distributions are supposed to be the same. I'll rename the issue to clarify this
I've also tried setting this project up to debug the issue but couldn't get it to work.

Not correct for macOS. macOS allows you to install any app you want, so there are no restrictions on browser engines.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't own a macOS machine myself to test these kinds of bugs, so I don't think I will be of much help here. If you could build from source with debug symbols, that would be very helpful! If not, I'm going to go ahead and pass this along to @ninXout who has agreed to help diagnose macOS problems when his computer returns from the shop in the next couple of weeks.

I've managed to successfully build it from source but for some reason, I'm getting an Uncaught ReferenceError: SharedArrayBuffer is not defined in the browser. This error normally does not happen on gd.figm.io, so I don't know if I messed something up while compiling the project (I had to modify the build process a tiny bit to get it to work) or if it's because I'm running it in a Linux VM or maybe it's something else entirely.

Just to confirm, are you using the python script provided to run the test server or are you hosting your own. If you're using the python script, can you tell me what build steps you changed?

You can see an example build with Linux in the build and run github workflow, along with the commands that should allow it to be built with little to no changes

I had to rename a few variables in the generated ninja files to remove some symbols because they were causing lexing errors.

Interesting, I have no idea what could be causing this. SharedArrayBuffer is usually disabled for non CORS-isolated sites, but the python script should ensure the site is CORS-isolated. I'm going to go ahead and pass this along to a few people who have macs that can help me fix this.
