Footprint change

Hi @FOSV - would it be possible for you to update the gerber files for the V2 1.5 board with both a SOIC8 and a HVSON8 footprint version instead of the DFN8 footprint? I don't have Altima and am not good enough in Kicad to change the footprint without breaking all the other connections it seems.

I'm already down a few hundred bucks in in parts and still not able to make this without a entirely new PCB run and I have a few dozen each of those two footprints trying to make this work :/

You can't really place an order outside the USA for less than a hundred bucks for a single resistor with minimums and shipping. It very much sucks. Times three times how ever many pcb orders are needed too.

At the current rate it will have been cheaper to have just bought a new minisplit! Kicking myself.

I did a really ugly footprint change here for the HVSON8 footprint on the alternate chip. The silkscreens are unchanged and it may in fact not be a good board but it may help someone else...

I found some buddies from $large_semi_company in California with Altium licenses so they will have a look at the pcb and make sure I didn't screw it up too much. Just waiting for Jlcpcb now...

Works ok on my PCB edits. I cleaned it up a bit and edited the silkscreen so no confusion - @FOSV hope that's ok I remixed? Left your name on it and just calld V2 5V
