Expected Result:

No video should be shown in the task.

Actual Result:

The old onboarding video is displayed in the 'Set up categories', 'Invite your team' and 'Set up tags' tasks.

The setupCategoriesTask, inviteTeamTask, and setupTagsTask tasks have mediaAttributes with video URLs, which causes videos to be displayed in the task views even though they shouldn't be shown.

The task descriptions in the language files contain markdown video embeds that render as videos in the UI. These video embeds are present in the task descriptions for:

When a brand-new user opens certain onboarding tasks from Concierge (Set up categories / Invite your team / Set up tags), the task detail view shows an old onboarding video. These tasks should not show a video at all.

What is the root cause of that problem?

Those onboarding tasks include a markdown “image” that points directly to an mp4 walkthrough, and the onboarding task flow also provides mediaAttributes for that same URL. When the task report is created, the description is parsed with mediaAttributes, which causes the mp4 to be rendered as a video attachment in the task view.

What alternative solutions did you explore? (Optional)

Only clearing mediaAttributes (leaving the markdown mp4 embed in the localized descriptions), but that still allows the mp4 link itself to be parsed and displayed. Removing the embed from the description is required to guarantee “no video shown”.
