  is no longer used anywhere in the codebase, so it can be safely removed.
• Removing this parameter currently introduces lint errors because several other functions still reference shouldEscapeText. As part of this change, we should clean up those functions as well by removing the unused parameter and updating their call sites accordingly. Such as:
