My extension Dusk Office (dekidev.dusk-office) is published and verified on the Open VSX registry, and installs correctly in Windsurf via the CLI. However, it does not appear in the Windsurf marketplace search results (marketplace.windsurf.com).
As I understand it, Windsurf's marketplace is a curated/filtered subset of Open VSX rather than a full mirror — so even though the extension is live on Open VSX, it isn't surfaced in the Windsurf UI.
The extension is already popular across platforms, with over 10,800 downloads on Open VSX and 339+ on JetBrains. Windsurf users are searching for it but can't find it through the UI, and currently have to fall back on the command line:
bashwindsurf --install-extension dekidev.dusk-office
