Keep history?

I'd like to keep the history of the videos I've downloaded. Is this possible?

It could be done using the argument --download-archive in a configuration file (a text file named yt-dlp.conf that you put next to yt-dlp.exe, in which you can write arguments you want used automatically).

Here's what the documentation says:

--download-archive FILE         Download only videos not listed in the
                                archive file. Record the IDs of all
                                downloaded videos in it

That would only record the IDs of the videos, not the titles. If you want to write the video titles to a file, put this in yt-dlp.conf:
--print-to-file "%(title)s" "Z:\history.txt" (replace Z:\history.txt with the file path you want). In addition to %(title)s, you can use any other field documented here: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp#output-template
