Thinking about this some more, do we even need role identifiers?
If the intent is to create a set of common terms that anybody can understand, even if they're new to this entire area, do we want to confuse them by adding 2 letter codes for every term?
Looking at the taxonomy so far, there are many different user roles that all fall under the same classification, so does that classification help differentiate things?
