If you try to create a new notebook or file from the Laucher in Jupyter while in a read-only mount, the following cryptic error pops up:
Error Invalid response: 500 Internal Server Error
Clicking Dismiss causes another error window to pop up:
Launcher Error model is undefined
I'm not sure there's anything we can do to fix this without doing a HUGE amount of work redesigning Jupyter errors, but we may want to have a comment about it in the documentation. Maybe a "FAQ" section or "Common Pitfalls"?
