https://matomo.org/ has been chosen as Data Analytics Tool.
I have to manage the hosting in the local till the time we can get a Cloud Instance for it.

We are currently discussing the provisioning of cloud resources using the budget allocated in the project for that purpose.

Could you please let us know what are the requirements that you have?

• number of CPUs
• amount of memory
• amount of storage
• number of public IP addresses
• anything else

@ritwikshanker, EGI has a matomo instance available that we can use. We will enable EOSC Data Commons there and provide you with the details.

The tracking is enabled but currently the domain names of the Frontend i.e. https://dev.matchmaker.eosc-data-commons.eu/ and the Matomo Cloud Instance i.e. https://egi.matomo.cloud are not the same. Modern browsers like Firefox and Chrome treat the matomo tracking as a third party tracking, and block it which stops any meaningful data from arriving in the dashboard unless someone explicitly enables the tracking by third party cookies(which we can agree that no user will ever do).
The online solutions that I read involves setting up a CNAME and a subdomain alias, but this needs a bit more discussion since the teams at Cyfronet and teams responsible for hosting Matomo cloud instance at EGI needs to get in touch with each other.
