saving data in server

Tried seeing the docker instance from two different URLs:

1. http://localhost:3000/
2. http://172.30.103.151:3000/

The data seems to be associated with the URL, since the desktops are different:

I though the storage was associated with the running Docker...

Please explain?

further using http://localhost:3000/ in another browser, further seems to reveal that data id stored on device and not on server.

The data is stored via IndexedDb and is domain dependent on the client side, all within the browser.

could it be made that all data is saved to server?

I don't think it could easily be changed to server side storage at this time, but its possible for sure.

probably in the place where Indexdb is configured there could be a switch for cloud based storage... it really helps to switch from a laptop to a cellphone as an all-encompassing device. hopefully an assistant can run on DaedalOS.

have you thought of making it an app, or have a native notification service? or alike...

I for sure will have notifications one day, and a server too. But right now my focus is still on a client side app. It would not be trivial to change the way the data is stored but I have a long term plan to re-write the entire file system with my own custom library, and at that point it will be made much more portable.

for a use case of a web desktop, (i.e, running the docker on amazon ecs), it would really help to have at least a cloud drive; having all configs, including desktop for example, in a cloud config
