Hello @bzeiss ! OwlPlug should be able to scan waveshell plugins, and report individual plugins as subcomponent. Are you running OwlPlug on Windows, MacOS or Linux ? For Universal Audio plugins, what is the state of the plugin in OwlPlug ?
Plugins metadata like Category and Manufacturer can only be displayed for successfully scanned plugin in Active state. |

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I'm running OwlPlug on Windows. For the Universal Audio plugins the state said "installed". I only scan VST3 plugins as I'm not using VST2 any more and the others aren't relevant for me. I'm trying various things currently to get through the legacy scan and disabling native scan for the plugins that fail. So far my attempts weren't too successful though. I'll report back when I know more. |

Hi, I was curious whether there is any way for the scanner to detect the individual Waves plugins on the machine. It seems that only WaveShell is detected, but not the individual plugins. I'm using the OwlPlug Scanner as the JNI one crashes on my machine.
Another question: for some vendors like the Universal Audio native plugins, OwlPlug doesn't detect Vendor, Type or category even though other Hosts like Cantabile do find it. Are there specific settings I should look at?
