inconsistency in data format between ddf and dsm

the data format that dsm uses as observation data should be the same as the data format used for the detection function in ddf. This is not the case for MRDS models (ddf 2 rows per observation, dsm 1 row per observation), and that exponentiates the opportunity for errors creeping in.
