How to sync metadata across devices?

I've been using the FileMeta on both of my computers to manage metadata like tags and titles for files stored in a cloud-based storage system. However, when I open these files from another computer, the metadata doesn't seem to be retained.

I found this article , which mentions that metadata is stored in NTFS data streams and when file copying, transferring , temporary handling, and backups, metadata are basically lost.

As I'm not very knowledgeable on the topic, I'm wondering if there's any way around this issue. Is there a specific setting I could adjust to ensure seamless metadata syncing across different devices? Alternatively, is there a cloud-based storage solution that supports the retention of metadata?
