There is a bug in the code that first uses the median filter in the preprocessing lesson. skimage.median failed on this image set unless we forced the input to be 16 bit. The code did not fail on the instructors laptop. Perhaps this is an issue with python package? skimage package? a config?

• import skimage as a library earlier in the process. too much time spent getting skimage commands individually.
